What do you do with this stuff? You can’t put it in the curbside recycling.
There is a company called TerraCycle, which specializes in hard to recycle items, from beach plastic to toothpaste tubes. They now have collection bins at the following locations in Seattle:
- Woodland Co-Op Preschool
- Meadowbrook Community Center
- Lake City Community Center
The bins are sponsored by Toms of Maine, the toothpaste brand. Just leave your items in the bins when you’re in the neighborhood and they will be taken for recycling.
