List of Seattle Area Climate Strike Events on 9/20/19

We plan on joining two of the organized events to support the 2019 Global Climate Strike in Seattle.

Since I work in downtown, I plan on joining the Amazon and Seattle tech workers around lunch time on 9/20 to the march to the Seattle City Hall. This march will support the youth-led march that will start at Cal Anderson park in Capitol Hill.

This is what we know about the main events (source The Stranger):

Phase One: Climate Justice Fest
Time: 9am – 12:30pm
Location: Cal Anderson Park, Capitol Hill

Phase Two: March to City Hall, Rally
Time: 12:30pm-3 pm
Route: Cal Anderson Park to City Hall, with the Link as an accessibility option

For Amazon Employees, workers at all tech companies, and workers in downtown Seattle —
Alternate Phase One:
Time: 11:30am – 1pm
Location: The Spheres (7th Ave & Lenora St), and then march to City Hall

Additionally, other small groups are planning events in some of the Seattle area neighborhoods. We will go to the one at 40th Ave in the late afternoon with our kids. From the Global Climate Strike.net site:
